The first lesson is a relaxed, 60-minute, introductory lesson which takes place either at your home or a local library. The purpose is for us to meet each other and give you & your child a chance to see how we operate.
>> Before our first lesson together, we usually have a brief chat with you over the phone to get to know what you're looking to achieve through tuition and understand a bit about your child's learning needs.
>> During the lesson, we will:

Meet you & your child, and get your child talking about their school experience, the subjects and teachers they love & hate, and their interests outside of school. Our goal is to put your child at ease, particularly if they are apprehensive about getting tuition in the first place.

Find out what your child's results thus far and how they're placed in relation to their academic goals.

Assess your child's level and capability by setting work at an appropriate level.
>> After the lesson, we will provide you with an assessment of your child's level and learning characteristics. There are no obligations on you to sign up to our weekly tutoring plans. The first lesson is a completely free lesson for you to trial our services.
